Is Goat Simulator really worth $10?

I definitely feel like I got my 10 dollars worth. I don't regret my purchase at all. I even changed my avatar because of it. I played it a couple times for several hours trying to find all the secrets and I really enjoyed the game. It is absolutely ridiculous though. You have to go in knowing that it's absurd.

I definitely don't think it's worth 10 dollars. If you're thinking about buying it, just go play gmod.

I only played if for about 30 mins and had lots of fun ... and never clicked it again ...

The only time it might be worth it is if you had friends sitting with you or streamed the game to have others to share the laughs with.

Otherwise, I'd imagine it'd grow old fast.

yes u will get bored of it quickly. but it is better if you actually don't ruin its not as expansive amount of content by watchin videos about it. Walkin around the map gets you about 2-3 hours of fun(if u dont watch videos cus then its like ur just checkin a list) and it's pretty entertaiin on the funny scale. I won it as a gift on here actually and even though i didnt pay $10 for it. I would say its a pretty justifiable price compared to a lot of crap out there especially since you have to know not that many people will buy anything when its not on sale anyways. Worth $10 sure, should u buy it at $10 prob not wait for at least a 50% sale.

Ooooh recomendations.....um binding of isaac,ftl: faster than light, terraria. To be honest $10 is a lot for steam sales. if u wait for the next steam sale you could top off at 4 good games if ur lucky

Or Tomb Raider GOTY or Sleeping Dogs for even less if that interests you

It gets boring really fast so unless you don't care about the money it's not really worth the full price.

"Game" isn't even worth an hour of your time. But for 10 bucks you could buy Arkham City and have $2.50 left over.

I don't think it is worth for the $10, but I feel its like GMod it just depends if you have people to play with and do dumb/funny things.

I dug it. Depends on what $10 is worth to you, really. Basically, the game is, what it appears to be, so if you're expecting Goatrim, or Mass Efgoat 2, then pass, but if you're expecting a goofy game where you lick hang-gliders, and fly around as a goat, then yea, it's worth it.

If you're in doubt of any game, you can always try them first / demo whatever.

It's probably worth 3-4 hours. That's what I got out of it. Depends on if 3-4 hours is worth $10 to you, personally.

Average game time before getting bored is 20 minutes to 2 hours.

Its a one note joke and thats it. If it looks like your thing wait for a sale or expect to feel cheated.

Not unless you have 10 dollars to throw away for nothing. Hell, with 10 dollars you can buy 2 of Origin games which are on sale now. Dragon Age Origins and Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, just to give an example. It would be money much better spent...

I enjoyed it. Got it on sale for $8 at GMG, got back about $6 from playfire, so overall it cost me about $2. (Of course I spent $8, but I buy many games from GMG anyway, so that $6 will be counted towards another game ===> Goat Sim cost me $2 :D )

hell no. it's not even a real game, just a tech demo. If you are a develeoper somehow, working on games as pro or you have similiar, you should have and see, otherwise hell no.
