I read that you obtain bonus games after several days that the promotion starts. I wonder if a friend of mine can buy for me the 1-dollar-version and once I receive his purchase can I receive these bonus games also? ... how it works if not?.

Yes. You can always raise the amount you paid up to a full week after the bundle has finished. Or something like that.

it means that if you bought the OTA or BTA you must raise the amount to obtain the bonus later?

Generally, when the Humble Indie Bundle adds a bonus game, they give it to everyone who paid any amount previously (though only steam keys if you paid at least a dollar), even if the new addition is beat-the-average for latecomers.

There should be an option on the key page saying "Link this to my account", or something like that. Once you link it to your account, you should be able to pay more.

Paying a dollar for a Humble Bundle makes you a dick. That's how it works.

Paying a cent makes you a dick.

paying a dollar is a fine, its the people who pay a penny that are evil

It's not evil, because paying 1 cent won't get you steam keys, which in this case it's the only thing provided. So paying less than a dollar or 1 cent would actually mean you're donating without asking for a game :D

Edit: My mistake, you'd be paying for the soundtrack :3

It still counts as a charge from paypal, which incurs a fee on their side. It's something like 30-50 cents. Paying 1 cent actually costs them money.

Indeed. Why pay 0 option isn't there?

I read that everytime you have a question, you should make a new thread instead of posting in one of the existing ten.

Are you receiving the URL or just the key from your friend?

Still nothing. A friend owes me a favor so he'll buy me the BTA version, and we have no idea how it works.

He can purchase it as a "gift" and send it to your e-mail address. Whoever has the URL will have access to the keys and as such, the second week bonuses.

Once the second week bonus is added, the key will need to be retrieved from the URL, they aren't automatically added to your Steam account.

This. It should also be noted that, unless Humble has changed its policies for the Deep Silver bundle, no matter what is paid during the first week the bonus unlock will be awarded. It's often referred to as the "early adopter's bonus". You could miss the average or beat the average in the first week, yet still get the unlock in the second week (while second week buyers must BTA to get it).

Does it apply to gift copies bought at the 1st week but not yet redeemed?

Again, unless Humble has had a policy change, yes. Redemption date generally means nothing, just purchase date.
