Solution:

Each line was an anagram of a number. Each number indicated a letter by it's position in alphabet:
1. net - ten - j
2. IXS - SIX - F
3. velwet - twelve - l
4. GET HI - EIGHT - H
5. TEXTS WINY - TWENTY SIX - Z
