Mine is a really heavy one. Listen to it with really good bass headset/speakers.

Maybe it is, but this thread is asking for favourite Dubstep, not rock (or what is the original ratm)...

american dubstep is the laughing stock of the world of electronic dance music. i compare it to the "nu-metal" phase (think limp bizkit, korn, all that crap) of the late 90s/early 2000s. in a few years you all will be embarrassed that you actually liked this garbage.

that being said, despite all the garbage out right now, there is a lot of INCREDIBLE electronic music. for starters, check out disclosure.

ofc its not XDD

but IDM its one of my fav kinds of music, and i love Dubstep too. Not the latest rapstyle which turns it into cool music, the reason why u probably sayin that things...

i wont ever be ashamed on this and many other dubstep stuff:

i love IDM as well. i think my favorite IDM producers of all time personally are telefon tel aviv. i assume you've listened to them, but if not i highly recommend it.

note - there is a huge difference between "dubstep" and wobbled out, overproduced, soulless "american dubstep" that relies on extremely cheesy bass lines and absurd "drops" to cater to the drug addled teenage masses. i actually enjoy a lot of dubstep.

I dont listen them since looong time ago lol, but still got a folder on my ipod which i use to replay XD theyve got pretty lovely immersive songs. Fahrenheit Fair Enough its a great example xd

Appart from AFX and Squarepusher, i can suggest you Kettel, Wisp, Plaid, Ametsub, Luke Vibert, Photek, and much more im sure i forget...

There is also the soundtrack of Machinarium, by Tomas Dvorak, which is lovely, quite close to IDM. Heres an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvDvawzJ3s8

BTW, how ugly is the name Intelligent Dance Music XD

ive heard every one of those. thanks though!

i agree with IDM though haha.

im sure you know autechre as well. one of the best.

ps telefon's farenheit album is a masterpiece, but its more glitched out IDM. i think their last album immolate yourself is a masterpiece. its so progressive and unique. such a shame he passed away =(

about autechre, ive tried them lot of years ago and didnt like them much, but maybe ive been unlucky with the albums, theyve got a well known reputation on idm world, i should give them a chance again xd. Ill check out that latest works of TTA too.

But recently im more into DownTempo - Trip hop - Jazzy style, things like Bonobo, The Cinematic Orchestra, Eric Truffaz, and that kind of stuff...

I also forgot, if u like deep stuff try out F4TMUSIC:

This is from one of it's components:

Not true at all. Look over there at David Guetta. The current laughing stock of dance music is four on the floor with pop singers.

david guetta makes house music. not dubstep.
