I'm not high enough to enter yet, only recently discovered this site, but it's a question I've pondered a few times. usually every time there's a new TES game on the horizon or it's about the time to start speculating on what's coming next. Morrowind has a special place in my heart, partly because, while I'd previously played Redguard, it's the first of the main Elder Scrolls series that I played and one of the first RPGs that won me over (previously I'd mostly been playing point and click adventures, a genre which was in a serious slump at the time, which is why I'd taken a chance on Redguard). that aside though, it's an area with some fascinating history and culture that I felt more at home in than Cyrodil in Oblivion, despite Cyrodil having more in common with my actual home

From known places I choose Vvardenfell too) In defence of Cyrodiil I must say that this place wasnt adequately shown. Very rich history, so many places to see...

Two of the most memorable areas from the two ES games I've (seriously) played:
The paint world in Oblivion.
The Dwemer Ruins and northern coastline of Skyrim (i.e. the Daedric quest that leads to the squid)
Not sure if appropriate answer, very sorry for that
