blacklisting is a very subjective thing I'll grant, so I keep a file as to why I blacklist people. I like to know why someone blacklists me, too.

I sometimes do - depending on a thread ofc ;) I generally don't see games as entity separated from all other popculture, even more - I found quite often that people that like the same games I like tend to like similar movies, tv series, books, comics etc. So I totally don't mind topics that serves as a ground to exchange popculture recomendations ;) After all - games are a part of this popculture and as long as such a topic is posted in Off-Topic section it's totally fine with me :>
