I often read in silence. But if I'm choosing something to play in the background it's rather something from Spotify, like Cinematic Chill-out or Stress Relief 'cause I prefer music without lyrics when I read. But I've also listened lately to the Medieval 50: Spotify Picks and it looks like it may fit in the "romance/latin vocals from earlier centuries" ;)

Anyway, maybe someone else has other recommendations ^^

I used to read sci fi books to the music from halo, which was a good combination.

I believe that Queen can help you with reading. You may disagree, but I think they can help.

I find the old stuff to be a bit too intense sometimes, really distracting me from reading.
I had some pretty good experiences with these "studying music" things on youtube.
