I know this isn't a place for this, but I was hoping somebody could help me.
So while I was transferring some stuff on my phone through my computer my phone suddenly froze and it turned black screen.
I turn it off and when I tried to turn it back on nothing happened.I took off the battery and put it on and still nothing happened.
My phone just didn't do anything.I was holding the start button for a minute and it nothing. When I try and charge it the light flashes, but I don't know if it charges or what.Last time I checked before this happened the battery was around 80%.When I connect it to the computer it plays a connection sound and then a other sound.(like a negative sound that it didn't connect)
So please if you can help me so I can fix this problem.(and yes I tried smacking it didn't work)
oh and sorry for my bad english

Last shot try Power+VolUp for 8 seconds (make it 10)...if it doesn't boot in recovery, then you'll have to pay a visit to a local service :(

If you phone is running Android, there should be a safe boot procedure for it that takes you to a menu where you can do factory restore, among other things. Google is your friend.

Press Power+Home+VolDown to enter Downloading mode (and then you can reinstall the firmware via PC) or try entering Recovery Mode with Power+Home

If you can't get into recovery ( Power + Home + Volume Up. ) you won't be able to do much. Around what percentage was the battery when you were transferring? How big was the file?

the battery was above 70 % and first I formatted my SD card and then was transferring my old back up to it.
