Title pretty much explains it, just beat the heist, and I already won Eets from you guys, so I thought I'd make a giveaway with it, then remembered the rules.

if the key isnt exploited then feel free to make a giveaway... This site have (in my opinion) stupid rules applying to creating giveaways.

Okay, thanks :)
If I don't give anything away I'll feel like a leeching jerk.

The rules are in place to respect the content creators, the giveaway creators and the site.

Any exploit-generated keys are an absolute no-no, many Eets keys are from such exploitation. One key, that doesn't look like you're abusing a game to get keys, but the moment you've done two, it becomes apparent that you've exploited the game to get a second or more keys.

That is not allowed.

I dont care about Eets key, because I dont know how they work. I'm mainly talking about Dark Messiah multiplayer keys.

The Dark Messiah keys gained from the Polish website are a disrespect to the website itself, the publisher who made the arrangement with their website, and this website. It is unfortunate that people are so disrespectful of a community that they would blindly take from it, when those keys are a community building effort, meant to help that community have a game they can all play together.

The publisher who arranged that deal was being very nice to them to allow this, and people taking those keys without being a part of that community sullies the deal, it discourages publishers from making such bargains with websites in the future - would you not enjoy the chance for such a deal to be made for steamgifts.com? It becomes more and more unlikely the more any already existing deals are exploited.

And what of steamgifts.com's reputation? Would you not like more developers and publishers to put their games up here? BEEP's developer did, and I think that is fantastic, but would he do it again? After seeing the Eets and Dark Messiah keys being thrown around? Developers and publishers evaluate whether or not to make such deals, such giveaways... Without their good will, there will be no official involvement on the site.

Such actions are poisoning the well, or, for another way to put it, shitting where you eat.

You're talking about Polish website, but you dont know anything about it at all. Few months ago there was full version of Dark Messiah in the magazine (CD-Action is the biggest gaming magazine in Poland). They gave everyone full version of single-player on the CD (non-stem version, the same version to everybody). And after this they said that if somebody wants multi-player also they need to head to their website and take that Steam cd-key. There's no exploit in here at all, everybody can take it. Even people without magazine. But you are all thinking here that this is an exploited copy...

A lot of users are not from Poland and can't read Polish. Its difficult for us to confirm anything about these keys apart from people's word. I think its more we don't want Multiplayer keys flooding the system indefinitely - inflating the number of points users have. I think it'd be more Kosher for someone to write a "How to get a Dark Messiah Multi-player key" guide in the forums than to constantly have people give them away.

DM doesn't not generate points anymore.

You can't buy a DM: Might and Magic Multiplayer Key from Steam. People kept putting those up, and it was counting as DM: Might and Magic Full Game. You don't see why that is considered wrong?

You can do up to five without doing any exploit, since you can link up to 5 iDevices on one iTunes account. This way you get 5 (completely legit) copies of the game, since you can't reproduce the key generation with any of th e 5 devices

That assumes you use one iTunes account and purchase the game once. While this covers most people, there is a minority that has more than 5 iOS devices and multiple accounts within a "household".

Not only that, but its possibly to sync more than 5 devices during the life time of the account.

it's made to be one key per device and as long as this is ensured, it's legit IMO

But there is no way to ensure such a thing.
