I wanted to see if I could get Dogfight 1942 through bundlethebundle.com, but it seems to be down. Anyone know anything about this?

Wow, a site to split bundles, as if they weren't already cheap enough?

Try to be a Collage student gamer, even 0,1$ matters.

I am unemployed, and having to pay for rent/electricity, car loan and food for myself and my girlfriend. And still have enough money each month to buy every game I want. Yay for Norway.

I think not being a college student in the US is the key factor.

It's not really about the money though.
It's designed to make it easier for people buy only the games in the bundles that they do want.
Take for example this; a Bundlestars bundle, $5 for 6+ games, it would be a waste to pay 5 dollars for a bundle when you already own 50% of the games.
So instead you can pay $2,50 and give the games you already have or don't want to people that actually do want them.

Because all bundles are cheap?

You don't get it. What if you want only 2 out of 6 games included in the bundle? When you are sure, that you won't play those 4. Yeah, if the're steam keys you can give them away, but remember that not all bundles have them.
Also, who are you to judge other people's actions (which aren't related to you?

BTB Moderator here.
Bundlethebundle is currently inactive, Fran (the creator of the BTB website) is not available (he was migrating to another country and i haven't seen him for almost a month now) and therefor the subsription couldn't be renewed.
I will wait a little longer to see if he's gonna be able to show his face again soon but if not then i will look into taking BTB into my own hands.

So, are there any alternatives people here recommend? Like good groups for this kind of thing?

I suggest going over to the Steam group; Group Buys while BTB is inactive.
But don't worry, BTB will be back soon.

Already a member of that even (never used it though), but the BTB system was pretty cool. So simple even my parents would understand.

Yes, it was really good and easy to participate in. That Steam group is the pure definition of spam.

If BTB is truly dead, then it's a huge loss :(
