Dark Souls 2 PC will not feature the lighting as shown in the trailers

I was afraid when I saw these Neogaf screenshots, but the video convinced me that the game looks good on PC. Praise the Sun !

A 30 min after relase patch by modders will fix that.But they never learn.

PC looks better.... and honestly you can hardly tell a difference. so whats the big deal?

Well, the PC version still looks better. All those console videos i've seen so far were quite...blurry and colorless. This one is much sharper, and there are colors.

Anyway, i'm sure that the modders will improve the game even further, so i can't see any problems.

But people want these visual showed in the pre-release trailer!

Hope modders will bring them out of the code.

Whoop dee doo, things change when it's unfinished. You can just look at a video a week before a game is released and judge by that. Instead of looking at a year old demo. :| I'll take the 60 fps and minimal load screens and I'm on my way.

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with the PC "port". All I wanted was a stable and better looking version with low loading times. Looking forward to playing the game.

Once again lazy devs leave the grunt work to modders...I would not support this game, just my view, game releases later on PC and doesn't even have true PC features/visual, what exactly was the wait for? Higher resolutions and slightly better textures(Mainly due to resolutions.)

With DS its more about the art style than the actual graphics. The PC version looked fine in those vids except for they didnt show off any lighting effects. I'll pass judgement on those segments when I play it myself.
