That's what I'm thinking. How in the world can anyone think it's trying too hard to be something it's not when what it is....is exactly what Deadpool is. Some looney screwball crazy guy who kills everyone and thinks he's the coolest thing ever?

As an avid Deadpool fan I think it's a great Deadpool game from what I've seen. It has his humour, gore and all round silliness without trying to be overly funny. It can repetitive but allows some fun free flowing bad-ass combat as well as the humour or joke here and there. It portrays Deadpool fine in my opinion.

I'm 24, and laughing a lot at it. The dick jokes and the random silliness is pretty well balanced in the game imho. All these stereotypes about target audiences and shit is more immature than the dick jokes themselves.
The game is aimed at adults, I enjoy it as an adult. Does that make me a sexist idiot making sexist jokes every minute? Hardly.

Technically, since New Mexico is a huge ass state, a shit load of games got buried there. However, you made a very specific requirement for the worst game. E.T was bad, but you're simply not a hardcore gamer for thinking it is the worst. The only reason people keep saying it is because they really don't know better. There were even worse Atari games at the time, but the company didn't gamble on them like they did E.T. Today, the money they gambled on E.T is nothing.

ive watched deadpool gameplay and it doesnt look bad. its just the average hack n slash game with the typical camera problems. its getting mild to ok reviews with some bad ones.

Totally agree. Ride to Hell: Retribution is really bad... Watched trailer and it looked boring. Watched gameplay - it is boring. Deadpool is really fun when you get used to it. Don't know about camera problems though since you can move your camera yourself. Yes, it's weird (or wierd - whichever is correct) when you use guns but you don't have to use them all the time. You can make some sweet sword+guns combos.

Deadpool isn't best game but it gives you lot of fun. There are some lame jokes but most of them are funny. In the beginning it seems kinda boring but when you get further in it it's really lots of fun. I've been playing it for hours today but got stuck in one place where my skill just isn't enough.:D You get best experience if you play with gamepad (a.k.a controller) but if you have Logitech one then you're kinda screwed because some Logitech ones doesn't work. But keyboard controls aren't that bad when you get used to them. I give this game 7.33 Woopi Goldbergs (max is 10 Woopi Goldbergs).

Haha, I have Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2. Got it so far that I can move around and move my camera (plus it's not inverted anymore) but still - can't change controls for it. But I guess we should have seen that coming since it says the game has partial controller support in it's Steam store page.

Don't know... I'm used to using gamepad for this kind of games so it was hard to get used to mouse + keyboard for it.:D But then again - I use gamepad for almost every game I play (except FPS ones). Anyway - I'm waiting for some info on how to get my gamepad working or I'll just finish game with my kb+mouse.

Xpadder doesn't work for this one. I have my own program called "Xbox360 controller emulator" (first link in Google with these keywords). It works for every game too but didn't work for this one. But as I said - I can play with mouse/kb too so it's not a big deal. :)

Is he much more easily marketable and popular? Yes. Is he nearly as entertaining? Definitively not.

I'd like to be the first to point out... that the game does not actually use Comic Sans. If you truly despise Comic Sans, you should get better at recognizing it. :p Comic Sans is a repulsive font with very few redeeming qualities, whereas whatever is used in Deadpool appears to be a professional font such as those used in actual comic books. I can't figure out for certain what font it is, but the closest (but incorrect) font I can come up with is Adam Kubert.
edit: Actually, I think that is indeed the font, and I was confused because it includes two slightly different sets of all caps letters.
