Solved.

Sometimes when I am lazy, I might just check new giveaways. The problem is it's sorted by creation time, not by start time. The result is that a lot of them might not be there because they were created hours or days ago (the site only shows open giveaways not coming-soons). Also, it might be weird that when you get into a giveaway, and it shows that it started long time ago and only got a few entries.

Don't use creation time except for archive.

That's kinda the exact same thing OP used.

Interesting, I didn't even know somebody uses that feature.
What you suggest is probably how it was meant to be, just a 'logical typo' I guess.

But what's it for, anyway? If a 'New giveaway' can end next month or next hour. Very unreliable selection

If you have already checked all the giveaways in the site, you would only have to see if there's something new.

The way it worked on SGv1 is that the giveaway would show up even if it hadn't started yet. So the giveaways would still show up, you just couldn't enter them until they went up. But yeah I mostly browse that way, so would like if there was some way to see those giveaways using "new". Either they appear when they go up or just show the giveaway even if you can't enter it yet.

  • Improved wishlist syncing, preventing wishlists from being cleared when Steam is down.
New is now sorted by start time, instead of created time.

The suggestion has been accepted, thank you, cg.
