Dear friends , I need your help , too SteamGifts community . This is the problem , there is a group in "Steam " that says " sell accounts and games " which to start is already against the rules of Steam. The group is this : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ventadejuegos (it's in Spanish ) . The second violation of this group, which is what bothers me is the following : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ventadejuegos#announcements/detail/1046178859512928721 . This announcement call to 9 people " scammers " without putting evidence. Also the worst part is posting extremely personal data of individuals. The so-called " Estafador6 " at the end is definitely the worst , published his full name, phone number, school where he studied , the home address , the Chilean R.U.T. (personal identification ) , date of birth, other than to mention a minor, only 13 years old . All their emails . Well, this is the worst example , other people is almost the same . That is why today I just report the same group where "Report Violation " he says. People ask you please help to stop this, I have spoken many times with the person concerned and I had to proceed to do this. Thank you very much .

Selling games do violate the rules. You are only allowed to trade gifts to gifts, no CD-Keys and money/Paypal involved in trading, although people always do.

You means stores don't like when you walk in the door with an armload of the same products and start undercutting their sales when customers come in?

I don't see the part of selling accounts. Also it's a group for selling closed 1 year ago.
But indeed he's providing too much info from the scammers.

The group was closed long ago. But that person could post that anyone is "scammer" and besides publishing too much information and has no evidence either.

You keep bumping this, but I'm confused about what sort of help are you expecting from people?

Do you need instructions on how to report a group on Steam? [Hint: There's a "Report Violation" clicky on the group page]

Are you asking folks to go and throw eggs at his house, and threaten to behead his pets, or will a few disapproving shakes of the head and some beetle-browed faces suffice?

Plot twist, OP is one of the reported scammers and has a bunch of approved threads on steamrep.

lol

Didn't see that one coming! This is even better than Shortland Street :D

EDIT: In fairness, the reasons for his "scammer" status seem spurious at best.

I'm on tablet watching a film, that may be true, haven't read the threads. And that's what he told me, cause he added me on chat

Make a support ticket to Valve telling them that you're a minor and some user/group has announced personal information about you in a damaging and threatening manner. You can also contact the federal authorities of your country to force steamrep to remove any information about you. The details will vary, but you're the first person I've seen reported who has had his personal information compromised and made public as the reason for the mark.

You've gotten into some pretty shitty territory with all of this. Don't expect the people involved to resolve it. Simply take legal action.

Well, I have scrolled down in the comment page of the group and it seems that there are forum posts where screens of these scammers operating are present.

It also seems that OP is one of the scammers listed there and he has used multiple accounts, including this one. Of course that he would like to have that group removed.

So yeah, OP, thanks for letting us know that you are a scammer and making us aware of the others. Blocked them.
