Greetings all!

Today I decided to purchase the game Necrovision + Necrovision: Lost Company, on Indiegala store. A few days earlier I had already bought Necrovision, from the same site, and immensely enjoyed the game. The game was spoken in good old English American. I decided to buy this double deal as I wanted to gift the first part to my brother. Then came the first dissapointment, as Indiegala only provided a link for both games, the first of which was already installed in my Steam library. I decided to activate the link as I really wanted to play Lost company. Then I noticed that the already installed game was updating. After the update I eagerly started the game to continue blasting away at Kraut zombies. The game, however, was now in Russian spoken language!!!!!
WTF!!!!

Is there any way to undo this update?

Thanks, and good gaming!!!

Try this: right click in the entry for the game on the library, select options, one of the tabs should be language.
I'm not sure cause I don't own that game but this works for many.

I tried that indeed, but it says: English. And still the spoken sound is in Russian. This happened after the update...
Thanks for your advice though! :)

If that's the case all I can suggest is googling for it.
Or try your luck with support, Indie gala can't have a worst support than steam. Right?

LOL I did indeed sent a support ticket to them. Strangest thing is that the second part'Lost Company, is spoken in English.
Thank you very much for your advice!

How about your in-game menu? Is it in russian too?
Can you look if there's a language setting in the in-game menu?
Is it possible that you just reached an area where you're fighting russians (so next area will be normal)?

No, the in-game menu is still in English, as are the subtitles. There's also no language setting available.
At first I thought it to be something like your last suggestion, though as there are no Russians in the game I thought it to be some demon language, as that would match that part of the game. Therefore I restarted the game at a point where the spoken language had been English before, and that too was now spoken in Russian!!!

LOL I used Google translate, and as we all know that is utter crap. Russian is an interesting language though, but seemingly quite hard to learn.

Yes man totally agree, it was quite fun reading your reply)
But still the basics of Russian language can be studied fast

For what it's worth, a lot of people learned English just by playing our video games. Maybe it isn't the end of the world to play the game in Russian.

You are right. I was just dissapointed to first have the game in English, and suddenly be playing it while listening to a language I truly do not understand.

I feel very stupid right now!!! Apparently the voice over was not Russian at all, though to my ears it definitely sounded like it!!! I looked at the local files and found two types of voice over files, one in English and one in Italian!!! I deleted the italian one, and now the voice over is in English again. I'm so glad it is resolved!!

Thank you all for your time, and many blessings to you all!
