Saw the daily deal, is this game any fun or is it mainly for kids?

I didn't play it yet. But I'm thinking of trying it out someday. I think the more creative you are, the more hilarious it will be.
I don't think it's mainly targeted for kids.
Also, check this.

I loved it, but you've got to like that kind of game... adventure games, a bit cutesy and not just go for the easy solution (or its a bit repetitive)... If you're willing to have fun with it its great :D

Do you like puzzles? Are you creative? If yes, then yes. If no, then it gets old.

Personally, I love it. I play Scribblenauts on the DS all the time.

Depends on your level of imagination.

For about an hour then it just gets repetitive and boring.

it's fun especially if you take advantage of the workshop. the game is linear but you can customize almost everything.

The first two hours yes, the rest is kinda repetitive.

well, thanks to the steam workshop, there are almost no limits in what you can do in this 2D sidescrolling puzzle platform sandbox godmode game.

Honestly, I didn't find it all that interesting - completed it but more just for the sake of achievements. Too many times the way I was thinking about puzzle wasn't sufficient to solve it while I was sure it should work that way, devs just didn't include it. Often I found myself thinking what would the dev think of or maybe native speaker (as I'm not one and for a while thought that might be a problem too).

In the other hand, there were few items you could solve pretty much any problem with them, like any kind of weapon given to the character worked most of the time which was boring really really fast, not only because the whole combat thing is rather simple and isn't strenght of the game by any chance but it was dull and repetitive deus ex machina kind of thing.
