Hi,

I'm thinking about buying this bundle from Amazon. Tell me if I should buy it or not. Also, please state your age.

Thanks.

I've tried the game, but I never really liked console adaptations. If you were into Fable though, you might want to give it a try, it's the "same game" with some good improvements.

Old 'nuf to know. Also, I love Quake 3, which should tell you that my taste is flawless.

At $10 it's 'meh', never EVER buy it at full price. It has an extreme amount of bugs and will in general frustrate the crap out of you. Want to co-op with a friend? Yeah, make sure you both have the same DLC installed otherwise you can forget it. It looks gorgeous make no mistake, the story is alright I guess, yet forgettable. It's also extremely easy.

I'm 27 but why is that relevant?

I'm also 27, I want to know what people around my age think about this game. It's like when you first saw Friday the 13th when you were younger, it was a good experience but then when you watch it again as an adult it sucked ass.

I LIKED IT! I wasn't as good as two, & the only good dlc was traitor's keep, but it was a fun romp. 10 for the bundle is worth it.

I finished all three fables but on the xbox360 so I can't tell you about bugs or whatnot. What I can tell you is that I really enjoyed all 3 fable games. Part of me thinks the bad reception is due to the hype Mollyneux generated (no game can live up to that) but still the games are quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the purchase but I'ma bit of a fan.

The thing is, the game feels a bit too linear but the world is "lovely" and alive. I really enjoyed all of them. Don't play them with any expectations and you'll be overwhelmed. And for that price... It's a steal!

It's ok, the setting is amazing in my opinion, but the game stopped at the point where I thought it would just start...and compared to Fable 1 and 2 it's sooo bad xD

I played it co-op with a friend and we both enjoyed it a lot, even though the joining player is somewhat limited in some aspects of the game. I bought both copies at full price back when the game was released and we got our time worth.

22 here, fucking love the franchise (well except the kinect one). Fable: The Lost Chapters are one of the greatest games I played in my life and sequels are not bad at all either. For $10 it's a steal.

Thank you for your replies. None of the DLCs are included, are the DLCs "must haves" because the game itself is not available in my region and I would have to go through Amazon for them. Heck, Amazon doesn't even sell the DLCs..

Just but the first game mate, it's like $2 something on amazon. If you like it get the goty edition of the 3rd game. Also if you have an xbox 360 I suggest you to play the 2nd one also.

I think I'm going to go ahead and do that then. Gonna use the rest of my money for Crusader Kings II or something..

It's fun, until you get to the collecting part. Flowers, keys, gnomes, weapons, clothing, tattoos.

That's with all of the fables. I think the first did the collecting bit best.

Fable 2 is great and it is not included in this bundle. oh well

all in all Fable games are fun, tho they were quite overhyped before they were released so lots of people were disappointed by the final product.

First of all, I'm around your age, helwing. I'm 25, to be exact.

I've never played the almighty Fable 1, but I have played 2 and 3. Honestly, I really enjoyed 3, but not as much as I did 2. They tried to streamline things a bit too much, you know, to make it more "accessible". That said, I enjoyed my time with it, and actually own it on both the 360 and PC.

I will say, if you hate GFWL like many PC users, Fable 3 might irk you since that's there. Personally, I don't mind it (since I have a 360 account, and this links to that), but I know some get bothered about it.

All that said, for $10 ($5 with the coupon), you can't go wrong here. And it comes with Fable 1 also, so that's a bonus.

Fable 1 was great, Fable TLC was fucking magnificent, Fable 2 is excellent and a true evolution of the series, Fable 3 is a huge step back and nowhere near as good as TLC/F2, Fable The Journey is just ... oh god, why god why!? Microsoft neglecting to bring Fable 2 to the PC was a huge disservice to PC gamers and Fable fans in general.

I'm 31, since you asked.

I still don't understand why Fable 2 never came to PC.

You and I both.. I'd go as far as to argue that it's actually the best in the series, especially with the addons. Microsoft have a habit of releasing bits and pieces instead of the whole thing.

Get it worth it just for fable 1 just saying though fable 3 lost its way Fable 1 > Fable 2 > Fable 3

Fable: The Lost Chapters was one of the best game I ever played. About the third, I never tried but i've heard talking bad about it and also i tried a bit the second and wasn't good as the first. I think if you can get it at 5$ with the amazon coupon buy it if not I don't know.
btw age: 21 (I think, sometimes i forget my age...)

I really liked the first Fable (I played the Lost Chapter edition). Simple but very enjoyable.
Fable 3 let me down. It's quite the same game but with lots of mini games to do as secondary objectives... none of which is interesting to do.
The idea that towards the end you get to rule the country is good and included a nice plot twist, but in the end it wasn't implemented in a very effective way.
If you haven't played any of the Fable games, I'd reccomend to play the first first. Then, if you really liked it, maybe play the others.

I'm 27 atm. I'm "old", I know. <.<

I have never played the first Fable, but I really enjoyed Fable III a few years ago. I'm 22, although i'm not sure why age is relevant :D
