So everyone's always complaining about these drm services, so it got me wondering, which does everyone hate the most.

Strawpoll

I personally think uPlay is worse due to all the problems it has with new games and pre-orders on it.

steam is best, Oringin isn't that bad..and with some free games (battlefield3, the sims 2 plant vs zombies) it grow up..Uplay and Ubisoft are worst in the world, pair with Activision and their stupid and crazy price politic. but i agree with bad support by steamm

Steam was pretty dismal when it first came out. See that "9 years of service" badge on my profile? Grim days :P

Origin is pretty decent as a basic client but sales are pretty much non-existent and it's annoying to have a whole separate friends list etc. Seems more unnecessary than awful.

uPlay has gone from utter crap to mildly acceptable crap. At least they don't require alway on for everything but the fact that many games need to side-load uPlay with Steam makes it annoying and a waste of resources.

GFWL barely works and is easily the biggest pain. Random log out errors, update errors, weird overlay bugs, the same side-loading problem for Steam games... Just an utter mess. Luckily there aren't a ton of games on it, and won't be any new ones going forward.

Origin. Because, at least sometimes you get free games.

Uplay has how many games? very few i believe. Uplay is definitely worse.

I've had the most trouble with Uplay. Origin is surprisingly well-designed and functional, not yet as well-honed as Steam has gotten over time, but still good.

I don't think I've ever had problems with either, so I'd say none. All are equal and living in the harmony and balance of life. Like a big rolling apple, falling down a table and then being eaten by a cat, then pooped out. Cycle of life.

Honestly, Origin's not BAD...
It's just owned by EA, one of the worst gaming related companies around, other than King.

Valve, good. Steam, great (but may be improved a bit).

Ubisoft, good (enough). U-Play, bad.

EA bad (terrible even...). Origin, alright (maybe even 'good').

Desura ???. Desura ???. (It's alright.)

I only had issues with both when they were new. I just want everything on steam, so it's all in one place.

My biggest complaint about both is how they handle game patches/updates: I'm not sure how Origin handles them (none of the games I own seem to have been patched since I installed them), and Uplay doesn't update until you try launching a game (and then it patches incrementally.)
