So everyone's always complaining about these drm services, so it got me wondering, which does everyone hate the most.

Strawpoll

I personally think uPlay is worse due to all the problems it has with new games and pre-orders on it.

I can't really see the problem with those, don't know where all the hate comes from. Probably people sees them like tehy see football: only my team is fucking awesome, all others are shit!
I rarely use Origin, so i can't talk much. But from my experience with uPlay, i love it! Don't have a single thing to point!

uPlay costumer service is fantastic. I've a problem once with a game language (RU) once, and they promptly gave me a new game key (ENG), same day. Steam however, good luck with their costumer services... it takes ages!

And about games crashing? Never once with uplay. Steam?? More than enough!

From my point of view, Steam is worse than uPlay. The only advantage is the massive game store.

uPlay is the worst, but i have to say that i didn't have any more problems with it during the last few months. It gets better and better.

I haven't played games alot with any of them, but I quite like uPlay. The system with achievements giving DLC was great.
To be fair, I haven't had any serious problem with Origins either, but I've pretty much only used it for The Sims 3, which I've used twice or trice.

Actually, in my opinion, none of them.
Almost like Sony' PSN services and Nintento eShop and thousand of other digital market that came after Steam (expecially from very big software/hardware-house) in these two digital shop platform I don't see the effort and care that Steam puts in their customers and the reason is very simple: Ubisoft and EA (and others) are not Software-house that care about PC-gamers (sometime they don't care about the generic gaming community related to them, for example Sony's PSN with the Vita).
The unique reason they have created their digital distribution platform is to try taking at least one miserable slice of market that Steam is inevitably obtaining thanks to lots of projects for PC-gamers like Greenlight, the Workshop (modding tool can primarily be used by PC players). Even Valve games are primarily thought to be played on PC (Half Life serie, L4D serie and Portal serie have not found a good console public as you can see, but are some of the best games done for PC).
It's not a surprise that, after these years, Origin and Uplay have not annunced some special feature that could increase interest in the PC community, and they'll probably never do it.
Even Desura, with very less money than Ubisoft and EA, does a thousand times better job than that Steam-occlusive garbage.

Uplay is a clusterfuck of bullshit (excuse my bad language).
Origin is bullshit but keeps going uphill, unlike Uplay... Which is going downhill. Fast.

TL;DR, Uplay is worse in many ways than Origin. The Origin hating is almost just a fad, to look "cool".

I would say neither are as bad as Tages drm. Any drm that restricts the number of times that you can download a game is much worse than what Origin and Uplay do at the moment.

UPlay, no doubt about it. Origin's actually kinda great now, better than Steam in many areas.

I avoid both but I have Origin installed on my computer for free games. As I don't know Uplay I'd say whatever I don't care.

Definitely uPlay. Origin is getting better and doesn't have that much problems but uPlay... I'm just amazed how something can be that buggy!
