Well, from the perspective of not-so-rich person buying a 600$ machine just for a few titles (that i will not be able to sell afterwards) does not make much sense, especially when there is Sony with its own quality exlusives. But this is just my standpoint.
But besides exlusives? I really didn't care about the current-gen ones all that much.

I never consider a console based on exclusives; I just see them as a perk. I don't know why a lot of people ignore specs, the controller, how it runs/looks, etc and only concentrate on the games. Yes, they are important, but I wouldn't want to buy a crappy console just because it has some good games on it.

Neither, since I'm poor with gamepad, but I'd heavily prefer PS4, if anything just because it seems slightly more powerful, is cheaper to play online, isn't made by microsoft and doesn't look like 20 years old VHS recorder! :D
Also, Xbox is about home entertainment features a lot, and seeing where I live, I can scratch those as a feature.

PS4tw! I don't understand why anybody would want an XBox One. They did everything wrong. The main argument for it is exclusives. But get this. If you let the console just die then the exclusives can get ported to something else.

i like more the kind of games that show up on the PC and don't care if i miss one or two exclusive console games that could interest me, i already miss a lot of interesting things on PC. So i'm not getting a console. Not now, probably not ever. I think i would get a gaming notebook before that, or maybe even a windows 8.1 haswell tablet

I don't have a controller, and the Xbox One controller is supposedly better than the 360 controllers in a few ways: better vibration, better D-pad, things like that.
I may end up getting a 360 controller, but the Xbox One controller seems nice.
