Rome: Total War2 Gamersgate not ROW?

Hey, I've just traded for the said game, the key is from GG, but it says I can't activate in my country (israel) but I can buy it from the Steam Store, so I'm wondering, is the GG code not ROW?

it may but its worth in my opinion since its not your fault that they gave u region locked key - if they are international player they must be able to deliver promised item to everybody who can buy it legally from their store

Perhaps the keys just cant be used until like release? Or does it really say that it doesnt work because your in isreal?

cant be activated in my country, which is BS, Israel was never restricted from any game + I can buy it on store.

Ask Steam Support about it, really.

This could be just some no-activation-until-release. Steam copies doesn't look like they are region locked...

Steam won't do anything at all the key came form a third-party vendor that isn't affiliated with Steam.

Game isn't released yet, they could've said that "keys won't work until preload starts" or confirm if there are region locks...

But it looks like this won't have happy ending.
