So I just made my first giveaway. The only thing I do not understand is the following. Prior to opening the giveaway i was warned couple of time that i will be liable if I submit (which is ok, and I understand). However after opening the giveaway I had a look on it and there is a button "delete giveaway". What is that? Can I do delete after opening? What will happen with those who already entered.
Thanks for the reply I am really curious (first giveaway anyway)
(sorry also because I am sure that it has been covered previously in other posts and I could have looked up the answer)

they receive the points back and you lose 1 slot so you can make only 2 more giveaways

If you delete, everyone who entered gets their points back. The point is that you would do it after opening, in case you did mess up.

Thanks for the replies. It is good to know about those 3 slots and that people get back their points. Just in case.

You should read the FAQ in the forums as well.

Ok, next question. My first giveaway has just ended. Looking up the winner to send the gift, I came across an other button which was unclear for me. This was "request a new winner". Would that mean that if i do not like someone I just do not give him/her the gift? Or what is that button for?
Again thanks for the replies.

Already had game, not big deal :P
It's for if they are inactive on steamgifts for 7 days or more from winning the giveaway
You "reroll" the winner

You can't reroll just because you don't like someone, if they already own the game or in a rare case where they can enter for DLC for a game and they don't have the base game for, then you can reroll.

If you set special rules in private or group giveaways and the person breaks the rules, you can reroll BUT rules need verifying by a mod before you make giveaway.

If you make a bundle game giveaway and the person owns some of the games you can reroll.
