Hello again. I would like to get some racing game during this sale for max. 5 €.

I am wondering about Dirt 1 (because it's very cheap and has good scores) or Dirt 2 (2x more expensive, is it worth it?). Maybe something different?

I already bought Ignite, because it's only 2 € and looks pretty cool for that price.

Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks.

If Dirt 2, please say why. It costs 2x more than Dirt 1 ;)

Dirt 1 was more of a beta for the series in which they got that game engine up and running. Dirt 2 took it up a notch with better physics, better car handling and a better multiplayer.

He means, look for a sale of it. I agree with him, the game is very underrated. I have enjoyed it myself for 55 or so hours, not bad for 10€, which is what I paid for.

I'm with GRID people, wait for 75% off, I had great fun with it. Another suggestion would be Flatout or Burnout Paradise.

Yes, Flatout definitely

Yup, if you like arcade racers, you can't go wrong with FlatOut or Burnout Paradise (this one is free-roaming, so you don't have to like it outside the races - but they're fun themselves).

Save up for Dirt 3, or wait til it goes on sale. In the mean time Trackmania is alright - & it's free! http://store.steampowered.com/app/11020/?snr=1_7_suggest__13

Even 10€ is too much for me. Listen, I have to buy DOZENS more games!

I wonder what should I do now... I can't but all: Dirt 2, Grid and Test Drive Unlimited 2, 5€ each :/

It's fun but it's not a racing game as much as it is an auto destruction game.

Burnout Paradise is a good open world racer. Insane 2 is also a good game. I personally didn't like Dirt 2 because of being forced to do all those damn stunt courses, I wanted a racing game not a stunt game although when you do race it is fun. Ridge Racer unbounded is another really good game but it's not for beginners that game is brutal as far as difficulty level for ai goes.

I prefer Dirt 1 over Dirt 2 because it's a more authentic rally experience and people aren't saying "dude" at you all the time. Dirt 2 has better graphics and MP (and GFWL...). Dirt 1 has Pikes Peak (which I miss the shit out of in Dirt 2). I'm not a motorsports fan at all, but if I was, I'd be 100% a rally fan.
+1 to Trackmania suggestions, though I've still only played the free version. It's just smooth -- if Track 2 was on Steam, I'd probably have bought it by now.
+1 also to Burnout Paradise -- pretty fun too, but more of a city racer. The last city racer I really had fun with was Need For Speed: Most Wanted, which I loved (haven't really played any other NFS games due to either age, crappy reviews, or no cops).
Grid is also a city racer. It's tougher, to me, than Burnout or NFS:MW. I haven't played enough of it yet to really give any more comment than that first impression.
Blur is also pretty awesome (from what I played on Xbox at a friend's place). I've heard it called a "grown-up Mario Kart" and I couldn't agree more.
