I don't know about you guys, but SC 4 is my favorite city builder of all time. At $4.99 it's half off compared to Steam. It's guaranteed to work and comes with no DRM. Sounds like the perfect package to me.

Thx. I may get it for a backup. I still have it in the Sim Box or whatever it was I have sitting at home. It comes with Sim Snap City Carnival something or other and SimCity Societies which I love to death.

So, yeah, I have hardcopies LOL Never installed it tho. I always prefered Sim City 3000. But I can't resist buying stuff on GoG.

SimCity Societies is an interesting game. I found it to be a bit easy towards the end though. Debating giving it another spin.

The thing I like about it is that what you choose to build determines how your city looks. I mean, if you build a lot of haunted places, you get a haunted city. If you build some other stuff, you get like a communist looking society... I like the themes. :)

Maybe that was my problem, I was using multiples of the best buildings to garner whatever I was needing to get the next tier on stuff. I admit a lot of my cities had massive cloning going on. You mentioning it definitely piqued my interest in it again though.

I have a hard copy of it as well. I picked up in real life bargain bin, do they still even exist anymore, with all the internet sales?

Maybe I will install it again and try it, but forcing myself a limit of how many of each building I use. Great idea, thanks!

Yeah I saw that too. I have been kicking my wallet around the house in frustration at the fact it never seems to jibe with the best sales. Pay day is tomorrow and I have nothing in my paypal right now. ;_;

Great sale though I am glad that GoG picked that one up.

I have the box of SC 4 in my big storage bin of computer games. I was waiting for Gog.com to pick it up. Now I can finally have a backup of the game.

They have SC2000 & SC4, but no 3000? I'm a little sad (it was the one I grew up with). Was also kinda hoping they'd release The Sims Complete Collection.

I agree 3000 is a hell of a SC game. But SC 4 being released on Gog.com is a good sign that 3000 will be too... hell, they even have 2000 on there.

Just asking here, Sim City + expansion is on sale at Amazon for 20 bucks. Is it worth it? I am terribly bored and got some cash to burn. I'm not looking for city builder game, just damn bored and sim city looked shiny.
