Just curious, since generally if I have no interest in a game, I won't bother entering it. If I do win, I'd rather win something I'm going to actually play.

To that end, I have 1,509 games blocked from showing up, which usually means the feed will be clean for new games I'm actually interested in. It rarely gets to the point that I actually run out of points, which is great if a game comes up with an hour to go and it sounds interesting, but kind of saddening if I am at 300 and with nothing to spend points on lol.

There is an easy way, just list and join your wishlisted games like I do. Wishlisting 200-300 games is easier than blocking thousands.

I wishlist the ones I want, leave there the one I might care about, hide the one I'll never care about.

By now I have 238 games on my Wishlist, 79 on my Hidelist (still under construction).

The fact is I don't want to overload my wishlist so that isthereanydeal's email won't be too long. Well, that's for people who use isthereanydeal's email service.

I like almost all games so ... blocking them isn't a problem for me.

Problem is, I hate getting a ton of emails when wishlisted games go on sale if I'm interested in them, but not to the point of buying them. I rarely use my wishlist unless its either a game I've wanted for ages but never got around to getting (Like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon) or games I'm waiting to be released (Like Sword Coast Legends)

You can turn off that on e-mail notification settings, I did that a long time ago.

Just use Steam Discovery Queue every day to wishlist most of the stuff you want.

40 - I only block games I already have but are still shown because its a different edition, or DLC for games I don't play.

I'm too lazy to add every game that i don't like/want/there is no chance that i'll play that shows here only 1-10 times per week so i have just a small number of blocked games - 780.

1,517 games currently filtered. And it would probably be way more than that if I wasn't so lazy. I only enter giveaways for stuff I think I would really play, otherwise what is the point?

"Displaying 1 to 25 of 2,482 results" In my defense....Magika and Crusader Kings II DLC accounts for 2,350 of those, heh. I don't auto-block DLC for games I don't own, so I can block DLC that looks lame for games I don't even have.

Even more fun looking at Steam:

NOT INTERESTED 6,093 Titles You Marked As 'Not Interested' This also includes titles that you have previously indicated to not recommend to you

I'm trying to get to the point where I break recommendations. They are kind of screwed up, two examples: GUN is on my wishlist, so it recommends Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and Westerado, but they are both on my wishlist ( I know because it shows that on the picture, HAH). Then further down: Since you wish for Westerado: Double Barreled Steam recommends...wait for it...Gun! It also does that wish Saints Row IV and Gat Out of Hell.

I'll randomly pick a game I don't like and click not interested for ALL the DLC. I have no idea why this all amuses me.

1848, but that doesn't include the nearly 1000 I automatically block because I already own them, and the countless number of DLC I block because I don't own the base game.

I seem to add at least 10 or so each day.

I thinking I have around 300 to 350 on my list of games.

I'm now up to 2,954 blocked games, again not including the 1200 or so games that are auto blocked because I own them.
