The problem is that people that activate the key from the bundle have NO way in future of getting access to the Winter Assault addon, because steam only has the Gold version in its' store, which includes Winter Assault. There's no separate buying of Winter Assault possible. When you activate the key - which doesn't include W.A. - you get the game in your library, thus removing any possibility of buying the gold edition, because steam thinks you already own it. So, you're fucked, basically. That's the problem. Not some whining over contrib. value.
