reason for reroll?

If you win a giveaway, and the creator decides to reroll, is there any way to know the reason?

I won my first AAA game, and after waiting 4 days to be contacted, I just saw that the giveaway now lists someone else as winner. Kinda sucks to keep up that kind of expectation for several days just to find out it was rerolled, without the site even giving any notice or anything. If I hadn't kept a tab open to the giveaway I'd probably have been wondering if it disappeared or something.

Nope, the only way to find out why a giveaway was rerolled would be to contact the creator.

In other words, was it a private or a public giveaway?

and if private did it had rules?

You can create a ticket to ask. Make sure you include the link to the giveaway in the ticket.

well i guess if the mods approved it, he probably gave a decent enough reason..

i am curious as to what game it was though.

Well, talked with the creator. It was a private giveaway for XCOM:EU, with a simple requirement of a comment. Apparently they missed seeing my comment and rerolled. I guess I'll close this now as there's nothing else to be done.
