So... Rant about Achievements.

Usually they are fun challenges you can complete in games on top of the usual story and I enjoy doing that.
Obviously there also are games with dumb achievements, Zup!, but eh, whatever.

I call my self a casual achievement hunter. I'll try and 100% but I won't do it if it's extremely grindy or just near impossible.

As long as they're not stupid or rng based guessing game payday 2... they hurt no one

Its a way to show off your skill or dedication to a game around others. I like that, as long as its tastefully done.

whats with the achievment threads today? Not that i mind at all.
i Like getting them .also 100%ing them is a joy for me, if its not too crazy to do.

Achievemets related to story - I hate them if they have spoilers. I'm afraid to check my friends activities because of that xD
Some achievements are nice though - for actually achieving something like finishing game on insane/heroic mode.

Generally you need to get all the achievements to experience everything in the game.

I like achievement hunting, but i won't continue playing a game I'm not or no longer enjoying just for the sake of achievements.

Achievemets are alright. The only game I finished 100% is DS 3. I beat the game four times to get all achievements and collect all items, boss souls, weapons and sets of armour to get all the lore. I had fun collecting all the stuff.

I like achievements as long as they don't require you to grind a lot and they don't have any weird and extremely difficult requirements, like completing the game at the hardest difficulty setting without receiving damage.
