I did not realized after the first win how i'm still in a same GA. It was a massive GA.

Tell the second GA creator to re-roll. After you win a game, you should sync in settings, and remove yourself from other GA of the same game.

Creator of the GAs is same and i got the key, so i guess it's impossible to reroll, i know i won't use the key, but teh creator can not be sure of this

Can the developer giveaways ever be compensated.. (I imagine they could get swarmed with re-rolls and I wonder if any of them actually care or want to be bothered with making support tickets to reroll)

edit: maybe not directly from developers, bu the giveaways with hundreds or thousands of copies is what I meant.

compensated.

That depends on whether if the creator doesn't want to re-roll. Though, it shouldn't be a problem.
As in the guide: Add a comment in the second win: "I won this game from another giveaway. Please request a new winner. Thanks!"
Do not mark the second giveaway as Received or as Not Received. After requesting the giveaway creator to reroll, your part is done.

Ha, I was just joking because of the compensated part. Anyways, it seems rough trying to fix multiple wins for those cases.

I also read giveaways with more than 100(?) copies get auto-marked as received, so there is that problem IF that's true. I won a copy of the Wuppo DLC, but I forgot if it was auto-marked.. (it had 1,000 copies)

I can still mark it as not received today, so I don't know if there's a real problem.

Just ask the creator to ask for a reroll. I've rerolled tons of giveaways where the winner had obtained the key before realising they own it. Never had an issue.

as long as you ask for the re-roll you did all you can really do without breaking the rules... if the creator doesn't want to do so then mark the 2nd one (the untouched key) not received to force their hand into taking care of it (or not caring and having a redmark on their name).

and still leave the key untouched no matter how long its revealed to you.

Won gifts should be activated to the Steam account used during registration, and they should not be regifted, traded, or sold.

Who care about the rules?!
