Add a contrasting color to favicon
Me too a little. But since the steamgifts(blue), steamsales(red) and steamtrades(green) are under one roof it would be nice, symbolically speaking and maybe esthetically too, to make the icon white-silver, since RGB combined=white.
Also something else that could be done is to have different icon displaying on top left corner of the site depending on which part of it you are at the moment(gifts:blue, sales:red, trades:green). So the old symbols stay alive.

On the top bar, the blue logo is still displayed so I'd go with that for the favicon at the very least.
I had also suggested using the three icons to have some visual feedback of where you are in the site while the beta was still running but never got any feedback for the idea.

+1 for some contrast and color. This grey on grey on grey on grey color scheme is rather boring.

Using black-dark skin on the browser, makes the favicon almost-invinsible. Icons supposed to be seen. It's not that big of a deal but it's not that big of a hustle either. It needs a contrasting color to make it visible. Something like the Old Favicon.Keep the black square and add it on a greyish-silverish box or make it silver square in a black box.

*Favicon is the icon that the site displays on the bookmark bar and on the opened tab. In case someone doesn't know what it is.
