[Suggestion] Possibility to edit giveaways which haven't started yet

Sometimes you want to make changes, and while a giveaway hasn't started yet, it should be fine to do so.

Sure, less hassle for giveaway creators and moderators
Nah, deleting giveaways and asking support for more giveaway slots is sufficient

About zero times. So not worth the effort I guess.

Edit: Possible use cases would be:

  • new users or people who haven't done a lot of giveaways yet (see the example)
  • people trying to spend all available slots with a long train

I believe that at least in the second case the support is more than happy to add more slots. Haven't tried myself though.

If new users had to delete all their giveaways slots, they did something wrong and would be better for them to reach admin for some clearence.
With long train you will be roadblocked by daily limit which is like 100 giveaways per day?

Checked out and yeah, 300. But still.. I mean, it takes some effort to run out of slots if you aren't a new person who messed up all giveaways.

would be nice to get a grace period in general(say an hour or 2) where deleting doesn't take up a giveaway slot, sometimes something is region locked and you didn't know, sometimes you forget to add a group you intended to include for a giveaway, sometimes you learn steam doesn't let you buy gifts to inventory anymore(who me?), etc..

I would surely enjoy those 5 missing giveaway slots back to add to the community train(and not needing to give 15 games to get them back)

This, I remember years ago that I made a mistake, I missed that a game was region locked instead of Row. So I was forced to delete because the chance was there the key would not work for a potential winner.
