Hi guys,
I just got my credit card replaced as someone was trying to make some fradulent charge on it. Someone was trying to purchase telstra prepaid cards with it. My last legitimate transaction was with Humble automatic monthly subscription charge these transactions took place immediately aftet that. Good part is that i have 3D pin service activated on the card and my credit card company blockrd the card proactively and I was saved. I am getting a new one now. So point is guys if you have card details saved with humblebundle kindly check your cards and see if a similar attempt has been made on them and be safe.

Don't forget to check for stuff on your PC that could try to take information like that.

Thanks buddy. Hoeever, i am pretty careful about installing things on my PC. Being a techy myself I am a bit of paranoid about these things :-)

This is why I use an electronic card for internet purchases. Default daily limit: zero.

Or you know, be poor like me and have a cc limit of 200$ which is full all the time. No bank gives me any more than that :3

Good call. However, with daily limit Zero, how does the transaction go through

I am issuing temporary limit increases through the internet bank before purchases. The amount can go to anything, but the limit is reset to zero in 48 hours (or sooner, if I set a date as well).

Wish bundles would allow prepaid stuff like paysafe cards.

Mastercard gift cards work for me on every site except bundle stars.
Paypal gift cards are accepted there though.

I am nowhere near downunder. So, the big question is where did they get the info from. My doubt is that humble bundle might be compromised.

Maybe it was something else. Did you buy from any less trusted sites? Your last transaction is not the likely culprit. Older ones which kept your information stored somewhere are more likely.

I am quite wary of shady sites. I got my info saved on very few sites.
