RPG - All kinds: JRPG, SRPG, ARPG, CRPG etc.)
Strategy - Not all kind. Most RTS are too simple, many TBS too tiresome. But the Paradox games, Total War and many many others are amazing.
Metroidvania
Roguelikes
Visual novels
Racing
And more
Actually, it's easier to sum up which genres I DON'T like:
Puzzles - very few exceptions
Fighting games - no exceptions

Like:
3D Platformers
3rd-person action / Basic RPGs
Racing
Visual Novel / Story-based games / Walking sims
Dislike:
Rogue-likes, Souls-likes, Online MP games, RNG/Card Games, Most Metroidvanias, Party-based CRPGs, Strategy
In short: I dislike difficult games
I generally play games to de-stress, not to give me frustration! Life has enough of that without my free time being filled with that as well XD

Since I enjoy anything with a good story and fun companions (friends of villains -- System Shock, Portal, Bioshock Infinite, The Witcher 3), I tend to enjoy RPGs and Action/Adventure games more than most.
I also have a soft spot for card games (Hearthstone, Slay the Spire, Hand of Fate) and the like.

Top 3 for me would probably be: Racing, Open-world fuck around kinda games (Far Cry, GTA etc.) and Simulation.

Sports management. I can play even deeply flawed games for an enormous amount of time.
Turn-based 4X, preferably those with less focus on combat
RPG (preferably with turn-based combat)
I enjoy good story-focused games with minimal gameplay, too.
As I get older, I find myself disinterested in particularly difficult or complex games, and struggle with those requiring fast reflexes.

I go through times where I just want to play shooters and shooterish adventure games, but my actual favorite genres are ARPG, WRPG, CRPG, and TRPG with a nod to Soulsborne and Walking Sims in my next tier.

I don't know about "favourite" but I can generally play any genre.
I try to avoid Adventure/Hidden Object games, "Walking Sims" and Visual Novels though. Aka, all the ones which lack engaging gameplay- they can get really boring. :/
Oh, and screw competitive multiplayer games regardless of genre.

I like
RTS, RPG (Mostly ARPG and JRPG), FPS, Strategy (TBS, Base Building, City Building, Transport Tycoon etc.), VN
I dislike (with exceptions)
Horror, Roguelike, Post-Apocalyptic, HOG, Point & Click, Open World Survival Craft
Basically I like details, but I also like some games that I can play with my spinal bulb. :)
