So... Have you ever offered an idea to someone in hopes of making theirlife easier, just to have it backfire in your face?

Just 20 minutes ago the soon to be Mrs. Monkey was putting lady products away in their persribed drawer of a slightly small size.
I said " Intead of just taking them out of the box to roll around in there, I could cut the side off the box, to keep everything neat and tidy."
She says calmly " I've been a girl alot longer than you, I know what I'm doing."

Well, how bout dat?? LMAO I just had to share!!

Why yes, in fact I have.
Nope, never gave them the oppertunity.

*Off topic (is where this thread should be)
(◕‿-)

But yeah, in my case it's probably in the way you I've said things or in how people "interpreted" them.

well i do that often, its like flipping a coin, it helps you know what you REALLY want by being "force" into buying another thing only to realice you actually wanted the other thing... i dont think that is the kind of backfiring that op meant, people just use you as a coin

apologise, especially when you've done nothing wrong

Doesn't that make you just as suspicious as surprise gifts?

suprise gifts are deemed confessions of secret guilt

Maybe the big things, but flowers randomly, or a small box of chocolate, favorite food, or a surprise date night really get the mrs' motor revvin'.

Simple answer, bitches be crazy.

Anytime you offer anyone an easier way of doing things that they could never think of themselves, they immediately go on the offensive.

I am positive it has happened to me that I gave advice and it was not appreciated at all, but I cannot recall any specific occurrence...

Also, your advice about the tampon box seems sound, you can tell your fiancée that people on the internet think you are right and that she should listen to you, I am sure it cannot possibly backfire
