First of all, 980 days before, I used a program to have infinite ammo, aimbot etc in Modern Warfare 2 BUT in a private lobby only with one of my friends, NOT online. I swear to God I did not cheat online. I got VAC banned a week later.

I use that account since then. I have now 326 games, many from bundles, many from Steam Store. This is my main account, I use this one every day. I want to buy GTA V for Steam, but I don't know what to do. Should I buy the game on this account or create a new one and buy it there? I do know that GTA V doesn't use VAC, they use their own Anti-Cheat. But for example in Red Orchestra 2 I can't play on most of the servers because I have a VAC ban on my profile. I don't know if buying GTA V would worth it.

I MAY also create a smurf account for CS:GO. What should I do? Buy both GTA V and CS:GO on another account or buy GTA V on this and only CS:GO on that one. (IMPORTANT: I am not sure that I will create a smurf acc for CS:GO, but I wanted you guys to know, there's a chance for it)

What would you do in this situation?

Buy GTA V on the account that got VAC banned from MW2.

TL;DR

what GTA V has to do with VAC ban?

As I mentioned, GTA V has nothing to do with VAC, but I still can't decide. I don't know if I should spend 60 more euros on a VAC banned account.

I think nobody should spend 60€ in any game, in my case I bought it for 30€ from a Chinese guy when it was not region locked, but hell not 60€, no game is worth 60€

I saw one guy, he is a collector, he has 19 VAC bans, he wishes Santa and GabeN to give him more VACs, he even has a Vacation badge in his profile (the badge is just form summer sale). He likes his VACs and wishes to have more. So i don't think1 VAC should be a that big problem.

For some reason his original Steam account don't loads, idk what happened but I see he has a new account, without VACs :/

That's a good question, but ultimately you are the only one who can answer that. You've already invested quite a lot in this account, haven't you? And at the same time VAC bans never look good. Having GTA V on steam doesn't offer many advantages over the rockstar club version anyway so if you don't want to invest in this VAC banned account anymore you could just get the Rockstar club version which is cheaper.

It depends. In the future, would you like to be able to play VAC games? If so, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start building a virgin Steam profile so you can. While it would be nice to have all of your stuff in one account, if you're ever going to do so, this sounds like a good time to do it.

While GTA V has nothing to do with VAC, that would be a considerable purchase to put on the VAC-banned account if you end up abandoning it later in favor of a VAC-enabled one.

Smurf = player of high ranking and experience making a new account to play with low level experience player

In this case not necessary to play with low level players, but you get the idea

The first people to get any attention for doing this kind of thing changed their names to PapaSmurf and Smurfette. It stuck.

Ah. Interesting tidbit, thanks! I figured someone would know.

The only names I've heard for lower-level characters of veteran players are "alts" and "twinks".

What is the difference between the Steam and the Rockstar club version? I know that I have to use Rockstar's Social club anyways so is it only that I have it on steam too? I mean if either I buy it on Steam or on Social club, I won't get any advantage, will I?

Both versions connect to Rockstar's Social Club. The Steam version merely adds it to your Steam account, downloads from Valve, and adds Steam Achievements. If you get it from Rockstar's Social Club (via purchasing it from anywhere except Steam), then you download it from Rockstar (via DigitalRiver's servers).

Personally, I don't mind having games tied to other digital providers, but I hate having them tied to random stand-alone ones from publishers or retailers (i.e. Rockstar's Social Club, Gamersgate, etc). I hate trying to remember from which random site I purchased which game.

Contact Steam support if you believe you have been VAC banned for an unjust reason. The main reason a person is VAC banned is because they played using cheats on an online VAC secured server. If you played on a private server that was not VAC secured, you should not have been banned. If you played on your own private server that you accidentally had VAC secured, you might be able to get it repealed.

VAC Bans will never be tolerated, if she/he using it for fun with a friend im sure she/he use it sometime in the future after a rage quit. VAC banned accounts never banned by mistake, its a system to protect and warn me from cheaters. And the smile in the end, here :)

Op just use this account, GTA V is not a steamworks title.

To be honest, in VERY VERY rare cases, Steam gives undeserved VAC ban, which can be lifted by support, but this is VERY VERY rare.

I will never use any kind of cheat again, I hate them, even in single player. :D I was young and a friend told me to try it together... I had a lot less games than now. (like 20 or more) I even finished GTA San Andreas without using a cheat code ;DD +I am almost sure Valve wouldn't unban me anyways.

I loved GTA:SA too much to ever use cheats. Besides, there's really no need. You can get tons of weapons from doing the side quests anyways.

I saw ppl with multiple VAC bans, if one VAC made ppl not able to connect to any VAC protected servers, then there won't be a reason to give ppl more than a single VAC.

"Valve's" quite a filthy shit pig to brand a steam useres account as if they were some kind of heretic ...
Being branded for the applicable game > sure seems right ... but the whole account ... sheer abuse i'd say.
