There's been a handful of AAA games that have had over 1000 entries. I think there was a Black Ops giveaway that racked up 1500 or so.

A (daily/weekly/monthly?) most entered submission and least entered submission would make nice additions to the statistics page. This Portal giveaway was the one that I see with least entered submissions on my list with only 43 people.

if SG got adverts for finance one day it could host a monthly gift prize for the most entered submission
that would be one sure way to encourage people to submit more new/different submissions
though it would be a neat statistic graph to list all the games with the number of subissions and highest/lowest numbers of entries

I can see as membership increases then so will entries to where it comes to a point that the lottery will become a much easier thing to win XD
