Are you agree or not?
TempeteJoachim linked a theme, the second half ot the song is very melancholic.

When I was a Boy Scout, we had this giant meeting in this semi-circle stadium and this song would be blasting as a bunch of dudes with fire came sailing across the river at night. It was a great spectacle.

No it's not.
It's a fact.

That is a very beautiful song, Joan Baez is a great singer and the collaboration with Morricone for the song was awesome!
Two songs that are great in their voice:

And he wrote one for Terence Hill's My Name is Nobody - my favourite movie of T. Hill, both because of the story and the music :)
Apparently A Genius, Two Companions & An Idiot is also his handywork linky

So weird - I was looking this song up a few days ago - It's definitely a classic.
I dunno if you've heard this remix before, but I thought it was pretty cool Ennio Morricone FT. Nas - Ecstasy of Gold (Dj Erb)

They Call me Trinity had an awesome sound track too, but I think that was composed and sung by Franco Micalizzi of the Oliver Onions.

Every time that I listen this song I feel something, I don't know what is but is so powerful, I love this song and only want to share it with the community...
The song "L'estasi dell'oro" was composed for the soundtrack of the Sergio Leone film "Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo" (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) in the year 1966. Too many people knows this song for the Metallica's cover in the album S&M, but Metallica used this song like intro in many concert before this. (Thanks to wiki) Yo-yo Ma also has a recording in cello that is great.
But the original is simply perfect.... the link for youtube: L'estasi dell'oro
Added a little train ENDED
