Two bundles as well as a batch of new CS keys just came out. The point system is fine. I mean hell, you're complaining about having too many points to spend. That's like whining you have too much money, it's silly :p

The reason you think giveaways are (sic) "Too easy to enter and too hard to win" is because of the probability of winning. Public entries have an average winning rate of only 0.2% whilst group and private ones are considerably higher. If you get involved in SteamGift groups and the community as a whole, you might have more chances of winning.

I mean... basically any time anything changes for worse, better, left, right, or sideways there are going to be 10 posts of people complaining every side of it. "I'm opposed to the free cookie baskets SGifts is mailing me each week!" "I hate having to be on the site or interact with the community to get stuff, can't we automate entering for things we want?" "Can we make it so it spams the comments with 'thanks' when I enter without me having to type ALL THOSE LETTERS?!" "I have 110 entries and no wins, has anyone won anything ever and/or does someone want to take pity on me and send me things for having posted the same thread others have hundreds of times before me?"

I totally agree. Now I can search ALL list of giveaways and I don't have points ONLY on the most expensive games, that are interesting. If we had less points, then we could just participate in giveaways that matters most for us. And have a bigger chance to win.
EDIT This topic is also a good prove, why this shold be implemented. Stupidity of many comments: "NO, I WANT ALL THIS GAMES FOR ME. I DONT UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL NOT GET IT."

i agree with the OP
lower point limit = less people enetering giveaways for games they dont care about, just vecause they dont want their points to be "wasted" when they hit the cap = more chances for everyone to win the game they really want.
Also WTH happened to this forum, people used to have constructive criticism, now its like being on 4chan

Usually, you don't get stuck on 300p because there are not as many bundle keys and whatever not allowed being submitted. The only reason everyone is whining is because they don't realise that. If people stop submitting what they are not allowed to submit, just to be able to enter contributor giveaways, there won't be as many points being generated as now.

or just put a limit on how many giveaways you can enter I had 16 points yesterday (16 hrs ago) and now I have 300 (max)
