It could be any reason. Maybe it's not worth replaying once you know the ending, maybe it has one annoying part you can't stand to redo, maybe it just wasn't that good, whatever. Tell me yours and tell me why.

For me, it's Dead Space. I loved it to pieces, but I feel like it's only good for one play through. I might have to play it again to get all of the achievements though.

Also as a tiny thank you for showing up, there's a giveaway or two that I dropped around here somewhere.

I play most games just once, finish it as much as possible, then move on to the next.

I'd probably do that if I wasn't a total achievement addict. Thankfully that addiction does not extend to my Steam account, just my Xbox one.

I only start caring about Xbox achievements when my PC breaks down, but now that the new consoles are about to come out, I won't mind much anymore.

Europa Universalis. I took one look at all those micromanagement options and gave up straight away. That kind of stuff just isn't for me.

Civ 5 was actually pretty light on the micromanagement side. wish i could say the same for endless space.

On topic: Batman: Arkham games, Like em, but the action gets repetitive.

Most of the Let's Plays and such that I've watched for Europa Universalis on YouTube seem to be made by people that ignore large chunks of that micromanagement, and can be fairly successful with some fairly basic strategies.

Never seems to work out for me, though.

That's one of the few FF's with incentives for multiple playthroughs (hidden bosses, excalibur 2, other nifty things).

Dude, I love FF9 I played it like 9times. Yeah fights are easy but that game gives me feel.

Give it a few years and then play again. I've found with RPGs that while you kinda know the story, after a few years it fades away enough to be interesting again.

i've only replayed 2 RPGs, chrono trigger and secret of mana.

other thhan those 2 i just go to the next game because i love new stories, i wish i could play all games in the world but i can't play a game were i won't get that surprised feeling when a plot twist appears and your mind gets blown.... maybe i'm not making sense xD

If you played it once, you probably already cleared the game, since the campaign was so short.

Dead Space the first one, i mean i love the game it's one of my favs but just the thought of redoin that shitty space shooter phase kinda turn me off.. and it's the same for DS2 plus i hate the chapter with the invincible alien too.. -_-"
But it's true whatcha said about funny only once, i mean when you know how they appear and all you not scared anymore plus if you know the story there's no valid reason to redo it.. but i think i may replay it someday cuz it's a fckin great game.. i'll just wait..

+1, I don't realize why people pay so much money for a Java Script game that is actually very poorly optimized. Mojang is really taking advantage out of people.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because it is not a Java Script game...

It might be a bit buggy, but that's minecraft. And don't forget that minecraft still receives tons of updates, so I guess 10€-20€ was/is a reasonable price to pay.

I will not play most of the games that I've finished.
I have a lot of games that I played for some minutes or maybe an hour that I will never give a try again:
Cave Story+, Crysis 1, Trapped Dead, Velvet Assassin, I Am Alive <- those are the once I have in my "F*ck this shit" category in Steam.

  • Surgeon Sim 2013
  • Don't Starve
  • CS:Go

Shit games. Surgeon Sim sucks and is buggy as hell, Don't Starve is one of the worst games ever made, and CS:GO is a worse version of CS:S, which is a worse version of CS 1.6.

  • Eversion

Fun little game, but no reason to pick it up again.

Game I haven't finished yet but probably won't replay-

  • Borderlands 2
  • Bastion

Both great games, and BL2 is really good, but not good enough to replay with other characters. I'll check out the DLC though. With Bastion, I just don't see it as a replayable game

hey I actually "enjoyed" revelations. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the worst games I've probably ever played. But i felt like it tried to be left4dead and failed so miserably that I just had to laugh about how bad it was. I mean I never really played for that long since the AI was dumb as hell but still. It was pretty funny laughing about how bad of a rip off it was. Sorry for paragraph <3
