That are just people that blacklisted me back. A lot of them are inactive or aren't giving anything. I think I encountered only 2 - 3 sincere blacklistings in my time here that weren't based on any dispute.

Oh well, usually it's just to get people to read the description/original topic/..., where they mention what they will do, and I really think people should do that more often...
My biggest problem with this is actually that I'm not certain how to react, I don't like the feeling of not being liked... but adding on steam to say sorry or something feels too much like brownnosing :)

Well, it's not about "not being liked", I'd say. I mean, I don't blacklist for either, commenting or not commenting, so I don't really understand people's reasoning but I'd say it's about you "ignoring" their "rules" (?) so they feel like they "need" to blacklist you for that?
I don't really know what to do either but I guess the only thing you can do is accept it and try to move on.. :/

If you can't take time to read the description, that speaks poorly of your character.
It also suggests you might be using bots to enter giveaways, which is another issue that makes blacklisting preferential [and in my own tests, every single person that didn't read the description indicated that 'yes, they were using bots' or 'I read it, but fuck you'- and in much less nice phrasing than that.].
While you may- to my mind, inexplicably- have concerns with people's listed preferences, keep in mind that the majority of users filtered by those approaches have pretty profoundly terrible conduct. So if a couple of less-terrible people slip through, that can be seen as an unfortunate necessity by some.
Of course, if the creator DOESN'T list their preferences, and takes some sort of action based on them, that's just them being capricious.
Both sides need to present themselves respectfully- that's the ideal, anyway.

My blacklist just went from 224 users to 289 in a period of one day (about 50 added in the last hour). It still has a long way to go until it matches my whitelist at 654. Hopefully it never does.

Archibot will check all the blacklists, decide humanity is not worth it because too many people are blacklisting for trivial reasons, take over the nuclear arsenals in the world and try to wipe us off the planet in an event that'll become known as Judgement Day.
There'll be survivors forming a resistance, who'll push back against Archibot and it's robot armies,and who'll finally win a decisive battle in 2029. However, by that time Archibot will have invented time travel, and in a last-ditch attempt to save itself it will send a cybernetic organism back in time to 1984, to try and prevent the birth of the resistance leader.
Beyond that point, the timelines get royally fucked.
