I'm looking for a multiplayer survival sandbox game with the possibility to build and craft, both structures and materials/resources. I'm also looking for a game that would let us attack other players and take over their structures/belongings. Monsters/zombies/animals etc. are welcome, and prefered.

Does it still gives random gender and apperance?

It does, but that is a good thing.

I haven't played rust lately so i'm not sure about the gender but your character appearance is random.

Rust I'd say is your best bet. $20 usd

Some other survivals are out there like hurtworld but currently taking over other peoples bases isn't really realistic at this stage of development.

hope you have a good pc. i bought it some days ago. started it, saw that it runs like crap (even down to 15fps in some cases) - and didn't try again so far, because i didn't have any more time since then. i used high settings, which were recommended for my GPU (GTX 970).

I've had a lot of fun with 7 Days to Die. Crafting, building, mining, harvesting, zombies, animals (bears, deer, chickens, pigs, dogs that maul your balls off), coop or PvP, the entire world is destructible, constantly being improved, random world gen or set map.

I just recently picked up rust. Seems fun but you have to join a clan fast if u want to do much of anything. There is also the facts that how it runs on your system will be a hit or miss from what i have researched. Also as of the moment the game has monthly wipes (which are needed atm) but most people would hate losing all of their hard work. So if you think rust may be your option just do a little research of its current state before making a commitment.
