I bought a few bundles and I wanted to increase the payment later, but to my surprise that option is not available even if the 30 days period hasn't ended yet. It happened to me for these bundles:

Humble Comics Bundle: Image Comics featuring Creators OWN Worlds (bought on January 14, 2016)
Humble Book Bundle: Lonely Planet (bought on January 10, 2016)
Humble Book Bundle: Be the Boss (bought on January 7, 2016)
Humble Weekly Bundle: RiffTrax (bought on January 7, 2016)

However, I do have the option to increase payment on:

Humble Book Bundle: Origami Yoda (bought on January 28, 2016)
Humble Audiobook Bundle: Smart Fun! Best of Public Radio (bought on January 27, 2016)

I wrote a message to HB support last friday and I still have to hear (err... read) from them. According to what I read at that moment, Ninja support had a response time of 5+ business days ("Ninjas", my ass!).

Does someone else have this problem? Did they change the 30 days window period without notice? :(

EDIT:
Nice, now I can't increase the payment for the "Humble Audiobook Bundle: Smart Fun! Best of Public Radio" (ended on February, 3rd). The link was there yesterday when I checked, so I guess they went from 30 days to 7 days without saying anything. Nice move, Humble >:(

The FAQ still says 30 days, though:

EDIT: 3 hours after this was posted, the FAQ is now (silently) modified. Way to go, Humble, way to go...

How long does it usually took you to hear back from Humble Bundle support "Ninjas"?

They really are ninjas! I got my answer before I even submitted my ticket!
Less than advertised (<5+ business days)
More than advertised (>5+ business days)
I'm still waiting them to fix my problem with The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle

I only know of one bundle that you could not increase on. For others you should be able to do it from your purchases page.

"The FAQ still says 30 days, though"

Not anymore:
"This option will be available throughout the bundle sale period as well as for a short period after the bundle has closed. After you click the link, it will expand into this window:"

Aren't they nice, open and informative? They could have warned about that. Now they silently modify the FAQ.

Way to go, Humble, way to go...

I thought exactly the same when I checked that. Also I love their choice of words with "a short period after the bundle has closed" which could be a week, a day, few hours or 15 minutes. It's not like anyone cares right ...riiight?

Humble Support, in all the 20-odd times I've used it, has never been anything but fantastic, and reliable to their estimated delay time [which they only have now due to having had to lay off people, so some leniency in that regard, perhaps]].

It's odd that people are reporting long delays, they've always been prompt, friendly, and exceptionally helpful [well beyond what they needed to be] in my interactions.

Hands down the best support I've ever encountered, with the exception of Amazon's.

No arguments that they've been rather less-than-stellar in regards to policy changes and regional matters of late, though [though I imagine site policy isn't something support has any control over] >_<

That being said, do note I've never heard them turn down a refund if the keys are unused, so in theory you could just buy a new bundle [if it's still active] and refund the old one.

But yeah, from now on, be cautious with expecting to be able to use the increase-donation function :/

These guys do charity right? Why are they making it harder for us to give them our money?

You are not alone.

I tried to increase payment for the following bundles:
Humble Mobile Bundle: BANDAI NAMCO!
Humble Firaxis Bundle!
Humble Weekly Bundle: Full Motion Video!

There is no option to pay more.

I'm waiting for a response from support,
I suppose, they answer me, after the 30 day period expires.

By looking at the recent bundles' ending date and following the existence (or lack of) of the link to increase payment, it seems that it's now reduced to a week. Of course, it's a conclusion drawn on observation, their wording is so vague we can't sure if it will be the new general rule or it will change depending on the bundle.

I'm also waiting for an answer from support (it's been a week now), and I'm afraid (as you) that they're waiting for the 30-days window to end for all elegible bundles, so they just can say they're sorry and move on. I really wish they will grant us some "grace period" on the bundles we missed (we want to give them money, dammit!) but by looking at how they're doing things lately, I wouldn't hold my breath.

I can't say for sure how Humble's contracts work, but other sites have had specific time frames laid out in which they could sell the game in the bundle. If Humble's are similar then obviously there is nothing they can do to help you. It's amazing how many people overlook the legality of things like this and simply bitch and moan because things aren't going their way.

It seems as though they did mess up and not make an announcement, but in reality, more people abused it for trading then used it legitimately.

It was dropped some time ago, and some bundles are even locked out from any kind of later payment increase. It seems they are getting a very specific amount of keys now and have to report the exact sales pretty fast.

Yeah, I think the increase payment feature is only valid for 7 days now following the end of a bundle (instead of the previous 30 days). Would have been nice if they had been more transparent about it.
