How can someone have better taste in games than someone else? That seems a bit subjective, as people have varying opinions of what they like.

It's debatable that people have varying opinions? Ok lol. I see no need to go further in this as well.

I see. Well, like you said, debatable. But similar to you, I've no need/want to debate, so good day sir :).

Read the whole store page: "Internet: An Internet connection is required to activate the game during initial installation"

They have removed the "always online" and only left a one-time online activation: Your should read Ubisoft forum sometime that not a big deal but at lease it less then $10 so that in self is a good deal better then $20, $30, $40, $50 or even $60 and Diablo 3 DRM is far worse

I say go for it. The game is a blast! If you like muscle cars, and movie car chases, this game is right up your alley. It's arcadey, but way better than GTA games. Don't expect a racing sim out of it. Lots of stunts, challenges, and car crashes. Just know up front, that it's all about driving, with no on-foot exploration or combat. I paid significantly more, and have gotten a lot of play time out of it.

I've been hearing you still need to "opt out" of Uplay to play offline each time you start the game. Can anyone confirm/deny this? This doesn't bother me, but I'm trying to educate a few people about the DRM changes and I want to be sure I'm providing correct information.

How does it compare to the first Driver (gameplay-wise)?
On a side note: Does anyone remember the ludicrously difficult and mandatory tutorial mission in the first game? I had to download a savegame with the mission cleared to finally play the real game. Prime example of bad game design in an otherwise great game...

Hi guys! As you probably know Driver: San Francisco is 75% off on steam today. It's £4.99 in the UK, and £6.24. But is it worth it? I don't know if I should buy it, or save money for summer sale. What do you think?
