Because if everyone just posts bundle games they got for like 1$ and other people give away games worth considerably more, it makes them feel stupid for doing so... this leads to everyone giving away bundle games which no one will enter for and the group dies ! Great rule imo, I've been a member of S-GiftsPrivate for quite a while and it's by far the best Sgifts group I've been in =]

The value shouldn't matter, SG is about generosity not getting contrib. And people want bundle games.
I can't buy any form of game online so giveaways for any game, bundle or otherwise, are accepted and appreciated.
(And also the creator of this group, kc, has been a douche to people like me in the past)
My point- people shouldn't care about bundle/non-bundle, you're still giving away an ACTUAL GAME that people will want. Do you ever see a giveaway with 0 entries?

I have been in a few groups where the problem that I have explained above is exactly what happened, if you are in a giveaway group (not talking about public giveaways) most people can afford to give away games and buy most bundles or already have them. I have seen plenty of giveaways end with 0 entries (even happened to me at one stage)... Bundle games aren't really viable in a group because there will always be people that give away cheap games just to get more expensive games, at which point it has nothing to do with generosity anymore ! I would also like to note that KC is lovely =]

Hello! I read all the rules and I would like to join. I am very capable of being an active member, I'm only in a couple other mandatory groups. I am able to post at least one giveaway per month and it will probably end up being more!

under announcements or discussions on the group page, it said something like "hey guys cmon lets make giveaways, i know no one is making them but itd be cool if we made giveaways since were a giveaway group" im paraphrasing of course

Hey ho,
havent posted for quite a few time here.
Our group exists for about 7 Months and we're doing pretty well,
by the meantime we had to depart from members by alot of various reasons,
some had to leave, some left because of personal reasons.
Nethertheless we're still digging the Steamgifts underground :)
Our group has a max size of 40 Members (including staff)
To apply you should have at least 100+$ contribution, dont be on to many mandatory giveaway groups,
and just be awesome.
