Wouldn't it be awesome to increase your chances of winning?

Wild thought, multiple entries for the same giveaway.

Instead of having a 1/(totalentries) chance of winning increase to x/(totalentries). Assuming you can afford the points cost/entry of course.

I think this would eliminate people from entering giveaways they dont "i kind of want" giveaway by allowing them to enter their "i must have giveaway" multiple times.

We could even argue that it would also increase the chance for others to win other giveaways, since youll be running out of points faster.

tl;dr seriously? four sentences, really??

wouldn't everyone still have equal chance of winning the game considering everyone gains the same amount of points at the same time? it's just about managing your points after that point.

If you enter a giveaway twice, and I enter it once, we do not have an equal chance of winning that giveaway.

that is true, but putting the 'storing' aside, you can enter twice too, you just choose not to. It isn't chance after that point, it's a choice.
You CHOOSE to save your points, then you can enter a giveaway twice and i can enter it once because i spent my points before. That gives you a better chance at winning the second giveaway and same for me for the first giveaway. I think saying its fair would be more accurate than saying everyone gets an equal chance

Getting rid of the "remove entry" from giveaways would eliminate "storing" of points. Then the value of points would increase making it a more difficult choice as to where to spend points

As has been said already repeatedly, including the other 273 times this was suggested, equal chance for all entrants is one of the fundamental principles of the site, and no feature that violates that principle will ever be implemented.
