Capcom announced Resident Evil for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. This version of the classic survival horror game uses the 2002 Gamecube version as a base. Textures have been greatly improved and the visuals have been upgraded to 1080p. Audio has also been remastered with 5.1 surround sound.

Resident Evil has an option to play it in 4:3 ratio or 16:8 widescreen. Capcom also has two control schemes, classic resident Evil controls and an alternative scheme where characters move directly with the analog stick.

I'm surprised about Resident Evil Remake. It was supposed to remain Nintendo exclusive. Granted, so was Resident Evil 4, but they managed to relax them on that by doing additional exclusives.

It's not classic RE without the godawful camera angles and controls :> I loved the Remake on Gamecube, Resident Evil Zero also. ^^

Considering there are people unwilling to buy a Gamecube or Wii for the game, there will be people who care about it.

As opposed to a new game?
I'd rather have a proper survival horror on more platforms than something along the lines of RE4-6

I've known a Halo was coming to PC for a while. It would be really cool if it was the master chief collection, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

I'm not one to love Microsoft Games (or their related business with GFWL), but... I'll say this about the Master Chief Collection: If it is on Steam, you can SHUT UP AND TAKE ANY AMOUNT OF MY MONEY!!

I don't want any remake.

All I want is them to release the original Halo:CE in Steam. Damn, is it that hard?

Halo Master Collection as far as I know includes Anniversary AND original versions.
Or it atleast does for 2.

I'm not sure about that.

But, if is that the case, I hope there would be a way to split the pack. I have no interest in the remake(even if I had, I have no wallet and no computer for that :P).

I definitely buy both. I'd rather have RE2 but hopefully that will follow. I already played all the halo games, and while I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, they're still good games. There were just some things I didn't like, but I did enjoy the single player.
