So yeah...i already own Borderlands 2 but i don't have any DLC's and i want to buy the GOTY only for DLC's. I'll still get them if i own the game?

You should get the DLC that is included with the pass. Remember, it doesn't include all of the games DLC. Also, you won't get an extra copy of the base game.

Other then the upgrade packs and the skins, it includes all the other DLCS, which is nice.

Doesn't work that way, if you buy the GOTY edition, you can't only get the DLC. Just buy the DLC alone.

Are you sure, I had FNV base and bought the Ultimate edition and it added the DLC to my game.

It does work that way. What it WONT do, is give him an extra copy of the base game or any extra copies of the dlc he might have bought (which he stated he doesnt have anyway.)

On top of that, buying the DLC by itself would cost MORE then buying the GOTY, even if you exclude some of the other content that is included.

so in essence, you are wrong, and have made a terrible suggestion. However, that doesnt mean it applies to every instance on steam as sometimes packs on sale can cost more then its base components.

Yes you will get the DLCs even if you already own the game. You won't get another copy of the base game however.

russian have a cheaper season pass as goty edition you could try to buy it form one of them :p
