I see where you're coming from, but it would be hypocritical of me to request a change for my country while other countries are included where they shouldn't be.
Also, what you say is incorrect. The term is mostly known that way in the US mainly, and just because it's used that way it doesn't mean it's right.

You could put it under "other", although there's no guarantee that you'll ever get an answer. I'm not from either of those regions, but I agree with what you stated. I died a little inside when I saw someone on this website state that Mexico is part of South America... sigh.

As far as I know, Steam didn't name the regions, they just separated them. My problem is not with the region, it's with the name it was given here in SG.

I think, for now, that the best solution would be "MX + Central & South America". A little long, but the only fair one I can think of.

I didn't make a poll because it's not a subjective matter, it's not like someone can say "Hey, no, I think you're wrong and Costa Rica IS in South America". At the end, it's up to the administration to do it or not. But I appreciate your support.

Hello!
I'd like to make a little suggestion. I know it's nitpicking, and maybe a lot of you won't care, but I do. Costa Rica, and 7 other countries, are not located in South America, but in Central America, so I'd appreciate if maybe SG would change the name of the region accordingly. I die a little inside every time I read my GA tagged with "South America", and I would be really really happy if this could be done.
Not trying to start any kind of fight or discussion. If I could make this suggestion via a ticket, I would. Thanks for the attention!
