Gamer since my born(95), my dad played all the time to N64, SNES, and I inherited it from him.
I started to play with 4-5 years old.

Final Fantasy VII is definitely my all-time favorite. Diablo II I played for such a long time that it has to be up there some where.

I am going to break it up into favorite game and favorite series and them multiplayer.

Game: Half-Life - Not much lives up to how I felt the first time I played this game.

Series: Halo - To this day I love Halo. I think its tied to the LAN parties in High School for the first one.

Multiplayer: Counter-Strike - Don't play it much anymore, but back before and during Halo time there was this game. It has been a long time but I remember playing this game instead of going to school for at least 2 years it seems. (not literally missing school everyday, just maybe once a week). So this would be my most hardcore multiplayer experience. Everything since I play more casually.

Oh and how about first game every played: Montezuma's Revenge on Apple IIe - :)

Haven't seen anyone else mention the Dragon Warrior/Quest line/spinoffs... Love those.
