It's hard to pick just one, but I would say that Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite overall (and I've played pretty much everything) [and I'm not a Final Fantasy fanboy, quite a few of them suck (mostly after 7)].

My favorite series is still Sonic, with Sonic 2 being my favorite game of all time.
My second favorite series is Tomb Raider, with the original game being my favorite from it.
...Not really into multiplayer. I guess just racing games in general are my favorite MP games, since that's all I usually enjoy with other people.
I've been gaming since the early 90's. I don't know the exact year, but I know I used to play NES games before leaving for preschool every morning.

Series = A tie between XCOM, Jagged Alliance and the original AD&D Gold Box games.

I really really love the Tales series, every time I see a new one come out I scream. But... they're never translated to English much anymore. Which is a shame since I love the Tales Series more than FF, could never really understand Squaresoft and Square Enix's vision for the game. There's a reason it was called "Final Fantasy"

Can't really think up of a great Multi-player or Game in general (well I kind of liked Star Ocean: Till the End of Time)

Favourite series: Hitman. Not a single game was bad.
Most played series: Hitman. Again. And F.E.A.R. I finished the first one 6 times and the second one 13 times. Both are good games.
Favourite multi-player game: I guess Team Fortress 2, but I'm not playing it that much anymore. The updates are keeping this game alive and I'm usually coming back to it after a big update.
